Website privacy
This notice covers how the Soccards marketing website
(soccards.io) processes information about visitors. For
analytics collected inside the game itself, see the
game privacy notice.
What we collect and why
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages visitors read and which referring sources bring them to the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless: it does not set any cookies, and it does not store any identifier in your browser.
What Cloudflare processes on our behalf:
- The page URL you viewed and how long the page was visible.
- The referring page that linked you here, if any.
- Your user agent (browser and operating system).
- Approximate country derived from your IP address. The IP itself is not stored — Cloudflare hashes it together with a daily rotating salt to deduplicate visitor counts and then discards it.
- Coarse client signals such as screen size and a connection type bucket, used to size dashboards.
We use this data only in aggregate, to see which pages people read, where they come from, and whether the game demo is reaching the audience we expect. We do not operate retargeting, advertising, or cross-site tracking on this site, and we do not sell or share this data.
Legal basis
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, UK GDPR, and the ePrivacy Directive, we rely on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for measuring aggregate site usage. Because Cloudflare Web Analytics does not store cookies or generate persistent identifiers, the ePrivacy "consent for storage" requirement does not apply, and no banner is shown. If this changes — for example if we re-introduce advertising or any identifier-based analytics — we will add a consent banner before enabling it.
Third party and international transfers
Cloudflare Web Analytics is operated by Cloudflare, Inc., headquartered in the United States, processing data under standard contractual clauses. Cloudflare's privacy policy and analytics-specific documentation are available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy and cloudflare.com/web-analytics.
Retention
Cloudflare retains aggregated analytics data for up to six months by default. The hashed IP component used for deduplication rotates daily and is not retained as a persistent identifier.
Your rights
Because we do not store any persistent identifier or cookie tied to
you, the data we hold cannot be linked back to your individual visit.
You retain the right to access, correct, or erase any data held about
you, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint
with your local data protection authority. To stop sending the
analytics beacon altogether, you can use a tracker-blocking extension
or block static.cloudflareinsights.com in your browser.
Block the beacon
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not set cookies or
generate persistent identifiers — there is no per-user consent state
to revoke. If you would like to block the analytics beacon entirely on
your device, use a tracker-blocking extension (e.g. uBlock Origin,
Privacy Badger) or block static.cloudflareinsights.com in
your browser settings.
